Usage tips

Contraindications for silicone nail protectors

• Do not use on a skin lesion.
• For individuals with diabetes, arteritis, neuropathy of the lower limbs, or varicose ulcers: seek advice from your doctor or podiatrist, then monitor your foot during use.

How to care for your protectors?
The sports nail protectors are hand washable (without rubbing) with water and soap. Allow to air dry naturally. Dispose of and replace the device as soon as cracks appear in the gel or when fabric or stitching degradation occurs.

What is the difference with EPITACT® finger protectors?
While finger protectors incorporate EPITHELIUM 26®, a silicone gel that effectively distributes pressure, blue nail protectors are made of EPITHELIUMTACT 02 which has the ability to cushion micro-shocks on the nail. Additionally, the blue nail protectors are specially designed for sports activities with reinforced support.

How to choose the right size?
The choice of size for sports nail protectors is based on gender and the toe to be protected. Refer to the size chart available at the top of the page in the "Size Guide" tab. They are available in 3 sizes to fit the big toe as well as the 2nd and 3rd toes. These three toes are longer and are more prone to pressure and micro-traumas in shoes.
